Two of our favourite types of crime fiction - Cosy Crime and Noir go head-to-head in this friendly battle. Tom Mead is a highly acclaimed short-story writer, who brings us his stunning debut, an enthralling locked-room murder mystery inspired by crime fiction of the Golden Age, Death and the Conjuror is an international best-seller, and the sequel, The Murder Wheel, is coming in 2023. Luca Veste is the author of several police procedurals and standalone crime novels including The Bone Keeper and The Six. He hosts the Two Crime Writers and a Microphone podcast and is co-founder of the Locked In festival. His latest title, Trust in Me, is published in 2023. Interviewed by Tim Rideout.
