Join us for Wines & Crimes, where we explore real-life historic crimes poured alongside a carefully chosen glass of wine. But if you're not keen on drinking wine, why not join us for an alcohol-free evening and focus solely on the crime! What to expect: • A gripping deep dive into real crimes of passion from the 18th & 19th Centuries • Wines & Crimes-themed quiz with devilishly good prizes • Try and figure out why the three (alcoholic) are matched to each dramatic story • Unpack the motives, the fallout, and influence of the supernatural and folk beliefs! About your hosts: Angela Muir is an academic historian specialising in histories of crime and deviance in England and Wales during the long eighteenth-century. Sara Hobday is a sommelier, event manager and former owner/operator of Vin Van Cymru, a wine shop and events company in Cardiff.
