Theatre Tokens

Access for Disabled People

Wheelchair Logo There is ramped access from street level to the Box Office.

 

Wheelchair Lift Logo

A wheelchair lift allows for easy access to the foyer, bars and toilet facilities. When booking your tickets, please tell the Box Office if anyone in your party has mobility difficulties.
Patrons in wheelchairs are asked to book a designated wheelchair space. We have six spaces available and escorts will be seated as near as possible.

Disabled passenger lift to first floor meeting rooms. The recent installation of a disabled passenger lift now means access to the first floor meeting rooms is possible for wheelchair users and those who have difficulty negotiating stairways.

This lift does not allow for complete access to the theatre circle.

Guide Dog Logo
We welcome both seeing and hearing guide dogs. A bowl of water will be provided.
Induction Loop Logo
The auditorium is fitted with an infa-red induction loop for the benefit of people with hearing difficulties. Please inform the Box Office staff when purchasing your tickets.
Baby Changing Facilities are located next to the Disabled Toilets.

Data Protection Act:
The Palace Theatre is committed to upholding the Data Protection principles of good handling practice. When processing your booking the Box Office will ask your name, address and telephone number. This informationmay be used to keep you informed of forthcoming events and notify you of any changes to an event for which you may have booked at the Palace.We will not forward any personal details to any other organisation.

Mobile Telephones
Please ensure you switch off all mobile telephones and pagers during the performance

Recording Equipment
Tape recorders, cameras and video cameras are not permitted in the auditorium.

Smoking
Smoking is no longer permitted anywhere in the theatre.

Young Patrons
You may be asked for proof of identity and age.  The Palace Theatre reserves the right to refuse entry.

Latecomers
You may be asked to wait for a suitable moment in the performance before taking your seat.
