 Movies on the Move
Would you like to bring cinema right into the heart of your community? Our Rural Touring Cinema scheme is here to help you do just that.
Based at the Palace Theatre, the scheme covers the whole of the Newark and Sherwood district, using portable cinema equipment to provide screenings in alternative venues, particularly in areas where cinema might not otherwise be available.
It's open to voluntary promoters from venues as diverse as village halls, libraries, community centres, schools and colleges - all you need to provide is a meeting point with some basic facilities.
Turn your venue into a temporary cinema where local people can enjoy films old and new right on their doorstep - to find out how, call the Admin Team on 01636 655750.
